Tonight, I am going to my daughter's house to cut her hair and play Catan, my new favorite game. She has gotten quite good, and so I may be in for a beating, but that's ok. Time spent like these are priceless. Does that sound almost like a commercial?

I've been married to Donnie for 27 years. We have 7 children, a new daughter-in-law, and a puppy (Donnie calls her my pre-menopausal, post-childbearing baby.) I also teach at a private school for students with learning disabilities. This is a rather new career for me, since I stayed home with babies for 25 years. I love people, although I'm shy around crowds. My favorite way to spend a Saturday morning is to sit around with family and good friends, drinking yummy coffee and enjoying a good and meaningful chat.
